The JPMorgan Asset Management Round the Island race is one of the most popular fixtures on the Solent calendar with almost 2,000 boats taking part.  Competitors travel from all over the world to take part in this competition.

The boats starting at the Royal Yacht Squadron line Cowes, race anticlockwise around the Isle of Wight heading west towards the Needles. Sailing a total of 55 miles.

The Round the Island race is a handicapped event which means everyone from Olympic medallists to weekend sailors can all compete equally.
